I'm not super thrilled with the string of rainy gray days we have had. It just doesn't feel like summer. But the other day, the weather was spectacular! For about five minutes. Look at the sky!
Gorgeous, right? Look how happy my succulents were:
Even the weeds look beautiful!
But then the next day I awoke to clouds and rain. Again. I did not take a picture of the sadness. I just could not. And then I remembered that when life isn't sunny, you need to make your own sunshine. So, today I decided to take some shots of things in my backyard that make me happy.
And I visited my baby spiders. They are a bit dispersed here, but I have noticed that they stick together in very tight clusters. Spider, on top of spider, on top of spider. And then I got to thinking how unfortunate it would be if I had not noticed them and inadvertently brushed up against the grass blades as I was weeding. And then I shivered, because while I think watching them is fascinating, I do not want all those tiny legs walking on me.
I am curious to know how the days will progress and what I will see. Stay tuned!
