I have been observing the spiderlings daily and have noticed that most of their time now is spent in a cluster or two. They stay in the cluster for protection. I read that they will continue to stay in their clusters until they are mature enough for dispersement. I learned that many spiders disperse through ballooning. Spiderlings raise their rears, and release a long strand of silk into the air. The breeze will carry the babies through the air like balloons. The wind can carry them distances from hundreds of feet to miles! I will keep watching...
